- Bring Your Own Paint. When a field allows you to bring your own paintballs instead of buying them at the field
- Chronograph/Chrono
- A tool that checks how fast your paintballs are shooting
- Dead Man’s Walk
- When you just start walking off the field, acting like you are out (but you don’t call yourself out). The other team might think you are out and they won’t shoot at you.
- FPO
- Field Paint Only. Lots of fields make you buy their paint so the can make more money.
- Gogg
- When you “gogg” somebody, you shoot them in the mask
- HPA
- High Pressure Air. Compressed air used to power your paintball gun
- Loader
- Another name for your hopper
- Porting
- Holes drilled in the barrel for relief of excess gas. Doesn’t necessarily make it more accurate, but it does make it less noisy.
- Quick Change CO2
- A device that lets you use a 12 gram CO2 cartridge where a CO2 tank would normally go
- Remote
- A hose connecting your CO2 tank to your ASA. This is popular with woodsball players. They will usually carry the tank in a backpack.
- Squeegee
- Tool used to clean your barrel out after a paintball breaks in it
- Wiping
- When you wipe the paint off after you get shot, and don’t call yourself out. If you do this you are a CHEATER.
